Montreal, January 29, 2025 – Today, MEDTEQ+, a pan-Canadian consortium for industrial research and innovation in healthcare technologies, revealed its new brand image and website, supporting the implementation of its new strategic ambitions. With over 10 years of experience, MEDTEQ+ helps health technology companies bring their innovations to market, accelerate economic growth and contribute to improving the health of the population.
“Our team is proud of this new dynamism to start the new year strong while supporting our objectives resulting from our strategic planning exercise. Our new brand image and website result from a highly strategic effort to strengthen our positioning in the ecosystem and pursue our mission of providing coaching and support to our pan-Canadian network of innovators. We have modernized our logo to make it more relevant and accessible, but also to reflect our new vision, mission and values: audacity, collaboration, excellence, agility and creation of value.” says Annie-Kim Gilbert, PhD, Chief Executive Officer, MEDTEQ+.
“MEDTEQ+’s new visual identity and website symbolize our commitment to better represent the expertise and collaboration that drives our members and our ecosystem. These initiatives reflect our collective ambition to continue federating the key players in healthcare technology and to strengthen our impact within the pan-Canadian ecosystem. The Canadian healthcare technology sector is a leading one, and our expertise is recognized worldwide. We have here a pool of experts who can truly support a technological revolution in the healthcare sector, and we need to accelerate the commercialization and acquisition of these innovations. The commercialization of these innovations furthers our mission to introduce new technological solutions into the healthcare system, contributing to the improvement of people’s health.” says François Bastien, P.Eng. and Chairman of the Board, MEDTEQ+.
“MEDTEQ+ has been around for more than a decade, and we wanted to breathe new life into the brand so that our new image reflects the innovation, collaboration and excellence that really define MEDTEQ+. This important change marks a milestone in our mission not only to support healthcare technology companies but also to help spread the word about all the innovation projects we support that make a real contribution to improving healthcare and supporting healthcare teams. At the same time, our new website embodies our commitment to transparency and connectivity, offering a modern, simple and intuitive platform for our ecosystem, our partners and the general public.” emphasizes Josée Laflamme, Communication Director, MEDTEQ+.
This major in-house project was designed to better reflect the evolution and mission of MEDTEQ+ while promoting collaboration within the ecosystem. This approach is in line with a desire to support the development of healthcare technologies and Canadian technological advances, and to strengthen the collective impact in the field of healthcare here at home.
