Eight Quebec-Based Solutions to Be <\/span>Tested<\/span>\u00a0in Real-World\u00a0<\/span>Clinical<\/span>\u00a0Settings<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Montr<\/span>e<\/span>al,\u00a0<\/span>June\u00a0<\/span><\/span>30<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>\u00a02026<\/span><\/span> <\/strong>\u2014MEDTEQ+, a pan-Canadian industrial research and innovation consortium that supports health technology companies in bringing their innovations to market, announces the funding of eight new collaborative projects through the second intake of its Support Program for Validation, Health Innovation and Evaluation (AVIS\u00c9).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the AVIS\u00c9 program, funded by Quebec\u2019s Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy and delivered by MEDTEQ+, Quebec continues to support the development and adoption of homegrown healthcare innovations. The eight projects announced today, led by Zilia Inc., Les Solutions Phonia Inc., AlloMia, Plume AI, AI4Eyes, AiguilleAIDE\/NeedleAID, Oscar Robotique, and Ikigai D\u00e9veloppement and Petit Cactus Inc., demonstrate the vitality of Quebec companies developing practical solutions to address healthcare challenges. By providing access to real-world evaluation environments, with the support of the Health Evaluation and Innovation Network (R\u00c9IS) and the clinical expertise required for validation, AVIS\u00c9 helps accelerate deployment for the benefit of patients and healthcare professionals in both public and private institutions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These newly selected collaborative projects represent a total value of nearly $7 million, including close to $3.3 million from the Government of Quebec and $3.7 million in private-sector contributions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0following\u00a0projects\u00a0are\u00a0being\u00a0added\u00a0to the first\u00a0cohort\u00a0announced\u00a0last April.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
