MEDTEQ+ INNOVATION SUMMIT 2024

Innovating to improve access to new health technologies

Montréal, February 7th 2024 — During its 9th edition, the MEDTEQ+ Innovation Summit brought together nearly 550 participants from across Canada in addition to the 50 people who attended the event in its virtual format. The event, under the theme ” The Universe of possibilities in healthcare” highlighted Quebec and Canadian know-how and leadership in the health technology sector in order to meet the growing needs of populations.

On this occasion, start-up companies, SMEs, colleges, universities, multinationals, research centres, health and social services networks had access to 7 panels rich in content addressed by 41 high-level speakers. Attendees were able to enjoy several networking periods, attend promising case studies and discover fascinating technological innovations by visiting around 20 booths in the Members’ Area.

Participants had the privilege of hearing Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy, Innovation and Energy, Minister responsible for Regional Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Metropolis and the Montréal region, at the opening of the Summit.
